Biography
Mike was born in Colorado in 1949 and moved to Montana in 1972. His guiding career started in 1973 when he began guiding hunting trips and he was licensed as an outfitter in 1978.
Mike has been guiding in Yellowstone National Park for over 25 years. He has guided hiking trips, skiing trips, photo safaris, and snow coach excursions.
Mike started painting in 1976 as a means to capture the serene and exciting subjects of his adopted state of Montana.
Mike lives near West Yellowstone, Montana with his wife Liz. They have four sons, all artists as well.
